Our Experience

• Acting for NQEA in the negotiation of $200 million contracts with the Department of Defence and a $40 million contract to build a dredge for the Port of Brisbane;
• Acting in relation to due diligence and other aspects of the public float of CEC Group Limited;
• Acting for the Broadley Group in the sale of its Ford, Hyundai, Honda, Land Rover, Kia and other motor vehicle dealership interests to Henry Walker Ltd;
• Acting in relation to a landmark planning appeal relating to the development of Flagstaff Hill, Port Douglas;
• Acting in the sale of NQEA's slipway and industrial properties for $28 million;
• Acting for various successful appellants to Court of Appeal in various matters, including corporate oppression action, insolvent trading, sale of business, trade practices, etc;
• Acting in major insolvency matter of Marian Haulage Pty Ltd (invloving over 200 employees, and director's Part X arrangement).
• Acting for Ernst & Young in the insolvency administration and consequent restructuring of Cairns Day Surgery Ltd (a multi-million dollar medical facility) and Jordan Transport Pty Ltd (a major trucking/ transport operator).
• Acting for the successful appellants to the High Court of Australia in a leading case on disputes between family members over an estate.
